MEET THE ARTIST

Monica Bhatnagar

A Passionate Artist, Dedicated Teacher, and a Lifelong Learner

As an artist based in Chester Springs, PA, I am originally from India, where my journey with art began. From a young age, I have been deeply passionate about creativity, with each brushstroke strengthening my connection to the artistic world. This passion was nurtured by my mother, who was not only my first art teacher but also a profound influence on my artistic development. Art was my favorite subject throughout school, and that love has only deepened over the years.

I specialize in acrylics, although I have experience working with oils. Over time, I found acrylics to be the medium that most resonates with my style and approach. However, I am always open to exploring new mediums—recently, I’ve been captivated by the beauty and versatility of pastels.

Art is not just a profession for me; it is my form of meditation. It is a practice that brings peace and clarity to my life. I am happily married and blessed with a wonderful daughter, and I cherish the balance of family life, painting, and personal passions. In my downtime, I love traveling, immersing myself in nature, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Thank you for visiting, and I invite you to explore the world of art through my eyes.
